
Rushdi Abdul Rahim is the President & Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology or better known by the acronym MIGHT, a technology think tank under the purview of Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation. He is also the Advisor of myForesight® – Malaysian Foresight Institute. Through MIGHT’s foresight,
trends analysis and horizon scanning activities, Rushdi spent most of his time working with organisations – private and public – to understand and explore the future impacts of trends as well as disruptions. For years, Rushdi has spearheaded transformative foresight initiatives, playing a pivotal role in shaping national policy. His visionary leadership has propelled initiatives across industry, youth empowerment, and social progress.
Rushdi was also featured as one of the 25 futurists in Leading Thought’s – How to Use a Futurist and has served as an International Advisory Board Member and expert panelist for the Asia Productivity Organization (APO), the Universal Foresight (UF) initiative, and the Science and Technology in Society (STS) Forum, as well as the Philippines Futures Thinking Society.
Recently, he was selected as a member of the Governing Board of UNESCO’s Category II Center, the Isfahan Regional Center for
Technology Business Incubators & Science Parks Development (IRIS).
