Dedy Mahardika

Dedy is the Technical and Financial Advisor for IFC Indonesia and focuses on the Advisory for decarbonization roadmap in hard-to abate sectors, such as cement, steel, chemicals, plastics, and other manufacturing sectors. He also lead the supply chain decarbonization strategies. Before joining IFC, Dedy leads the SBTi engagement and technical assistance for Asia Pacific companies and serve as the Senior SBT Engagement Manager. He is part of SBTi’s Impact/Corporate Engagement team. He focuses on the development of the regional corporate engagement and strategic collaboration to bring more uptakes in the region. Dedy engages and provide the technical assistance to key companies in Southeast Asia, Oceania, China, Japan, Hong Kong, and India. The role also includes developing the SBTi partnership with key organizations, such as Indonesia Chamber of Commerce/KADIN, RSPO, Sustainable Apparel Coalition, and Stock Exchanges in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Hong Kong. He is also involved in the SBTi Sectoral Decarbonization Approach (SDA) development, focusing on forest, land, and agriculture (FLAG), buildings, and cement sector. Dedy had been working on SBTi issue since its first inception in Asia in 2017. He is a certified GHG Protocol trainer and expert and part of GHG Protocol Technical Advisory Group (TAG), and a former member of VERRA Scope 3 Working Group.
