Dennis Wan is Market Director, APAC (excluding Japan and China) at CDP, a global non-profit that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system. He leads CDP’s engagement with companies and financial institutions across the region to help surface the information needed to enable Earth-positive decisions.
Dennis joined CDP after personally witnessing the U.S. forest fires of summer 2021, leaving a 23-year career in banking to work on environmental transparency. At Credit Suisse, he held roles in Tokyo, New York, and Singapore before serving as Chief Operating Officer for Hong Kong, where he ran the Board of Directors and oversaw locational governance across all banking and support functions.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
He is a regular speaker at industry events across the region.
