Aida Lim Abdullah (林虹妗) BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance (Law) | CA(M) | CFP | RFP Shariah (MFPC) | FCMA, CGMA | CIIFP | Halal Professional (JAKIM, UIIA, MIHA) Founder & Managing Director, Corporate Streets Sdn Bhd Speaker.

With over 30 years across capital markets, corporate governance, and Islamic finance. She is Founder and Managing Director of Corporate Streets Sdn Bhd, and serves on the board of Sunzen Group Berhad as Audit Committee Chairman and Remuneration Committee Member.

Her ESG track record spans 25+ years, beginning in 1999 at Bursa Malaysia and the Securities Commission, where she helped shape early corporate governance policy. She later served as Chief of Corporate Governance and Business Ecosystem at QSR Brands, introducing ESG practices ahead of the market, before becoming the first CEO of Penang Halal International, where she elevated the business into the wider Halal Economy with ESG as a core pillar.

She brings hands-on ESG implementation experience across GLCs, PLCs, financial institutions, and government agencies, alongside speaking and training work including UNESCO-supported academic sessions.

She is currently also building a B2B energy-savings venture supporting climate change mitigation, and has been selected for Cambridge IFA’s WOMANi Top 500 Most Influential Women in Islamic Business and Finance (2026).

What distinguishes her in ESG governance specifically is a dual vantage point few speakers bring: sitting on both the Remuneration Committee that sets ESG-linked targets and chairing the Audit Committee that verifies whether the data behind them holds up.
