Dr. Tek-Yew Lew is an Associate Professor in Management and Head of Department at the Department
of Management and Marketing, Faculty of Business, Curtin University Malaysia. He holds a PhD in
human resource development and his areas of research interests are future of work, psychological
capital, employee engagement, organizational commitment, job performance and psychological well-
being. He has been lecturing at Curtin Malaysia since 2003. He has published over 40 journals articles
in peer reviewed journals such as Employee Relations, Current Psychology, Journal of Hospitality and
Tourism Insights, Sustainability, International Journal of Culture, Tourism and Hospitality Research, Asia
Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, International Journal of Leisure and Tourism Marketing,
Journal of Asia Business Studies, Sarawak Development Journal and Bankers’ Journal Malaysia. His
