Mariana Vijil (Ph.D) is Senior Economist at the World Bank, specialized on private sector development issues. She has worked in Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, Europe as well as Latin America and the Caribbean regions, providing policy advice as well as developing and implementing projects on entrepreneurship, international trade, value chains development and green competitiveness.
