Dr. Tina Thomas is Head of ESG at InCorp Asia, advising boards and executive teams across Asia-Pacific on turning ESG into a lever for risk mitigation, capital access, and long-term value creation. With over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, she brings deep operational and commercial insight from delivering complex upstream projects and energy transition initiatives including evaluating the economics and investment risk assessment of carbon capture and storage, and renewable energy projects.
Dr. Tina now works with organisations to move beyond compliance, embedding ESG into strategy, governance, and financial decision-making. Her work focuses on strengthening investor confidence through corporate disclosures and access to sustainable finance, including ESG-linked financing structures; reducing regulatory and compliance risk through audit-ready disclosures; and enhancing operational efficiency through targeted decarbonisation initiatives across Scope 1 to 3 emissions. She also helps organisations mitigate greenwashing and reputational risk through robust data, controls, and assurance readiness, while improving market positioning and valuation narratives through credible, decision-useful ESG strategies.
Dr. Tina holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Warwick Business School, where her research focused on how companies develop corporate strategies to navigate the climate change and energy transition pressures and stakeholder expectations under economic, political, and regulatory uncertainty. She also holds an MBA from London Business School, a postgraduate in Econometrics from the London School of Economics, and a BTech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
