Francis Macatulad is the Executive Director of the Asia Society for Social Impact and Sustainable Transformation or ASSIST, a non-profit, non-government organization founded in the Philippines in 2003. Working out of six country offices, ASSIST has implemented over 350 projects in 25 countries and impacted the lives of over 2 million people. ASSIST strongly advocates for sustainability, green skills development, employment and livelihood, as well as health and nutrition, agriculture and food security and disaster preparedness.
Francis has over 10 years of experience in the development sector and another 25 years of work in the private sector leading organizations in IT, construction and real estate development, hospitality and tourism and advertising. Prior to his work at ASSIST, Francis was part of the leadership teams of Habitat for Humanity Philippines, Caritas Manila and the Rotary Foundation.
