With nearly two decades of experience in the palm oil and renewable energy sectors, Khairull Hafiz
Ismail is a sustainability leader passionate about driving Malaysia’s transition toward responsible and
low-carbon business practices. His career spans engineering, sustainability strategy, and ESG leadership
including managing major industrial projects such as a RM75 million palm oil mill construction and
developing GHG reduction frameworks for a public-listed plantation company.
Having served both as a corporate sustainability leader and a consultant, Khairull possesses an in-depth
understanding of what organizations truly need to embed sustainability within their business DNA. This
dual perspective enables him to bridge practical implementation with strategic foresight helping
clients design and operationalize sustainability frameworks, policies, and ESG reporting structures that
align with global standards and local realities.
