Khairull Hafiz Ismail is a sustainability, ESG, and decarbonization practitioner with nearly 20 years of industry experience spanning engineering, operations, and corporate sustainability. Beginning his career in the palm oil sector as a mechanical engineer, he later transitioned into sustainability leadership, where he has led initiatives involving GHG accounting, ESG governance, decarbonization strategy, sustainability reporting, and operational transformation across multiple industries.
Today, Khairull works closely with organizations across Southeast Asia as both an industry practitioner and consultant, supporting clients in areas such as ESG strategy development, data governance, Scope 1–3 emissions management, regulatory readiness, and sustainability reporting aligned with frameworks such as International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and regional market expectations.
