Muazzam Mohamad is the Head of Corporate Sustainability and Stewardship team at Permodalan Nasional Berhad with 19 years of combined experience in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, strategy, sustainability and governance. He leads the execution of PNB’s ESG commitments which include Net Zero Emissions 2050 covering both PNB Enterprise and Portfolio activities, investment stewardship, proxy voting and promoting effective boards of its key investee companies.
He is also a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Tenaga Nasional Berhad representing PNB, serving as Chairman of the Board Sustainability & Risk Committee, Interim Chair of the Board Nomination & Remuneration Committee and member of the Board Integrity Committee of TNB.
