YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang was appointed as Malaysia\u2019s Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation in December 2022, where he leads the country\u2019s transformation through innovation, research & development and sustainable technology. He is also the Member of Parliament for Tanjong Malim, having first secured the seat in May 2018. <\/p>
Educated in civil engineering (BEng) at Universiti Putra Malaysia, followed by a Master in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, YB Tuan Chang brings both technical and policy expertise to his role. <\/p>
In his ministerial capacity, Chang has initiated key national efforts such as the Hydrogen Economy & Technology Roadmap (HETR)<\/strong> – a strategic blueprint designed to address Malaysia’s energy challenges of reliability, affordability and sustainability.
