Meling (Mel) is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Payment Networks Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (PayNet), providing overall oversight and governance on cybersecurity. He leads a team responsible for cyber risk management and strategy, technology risk managament, and data security and protection.
In addition, he leads the adoption and innovation of AI in PayNet. He also leads the research and development on the threats and impact of artificial intelligence and quantum computing on cyber risks.
Before PayNet, Mel served in leadership roles in KPMG and EY, providing cybersecurity advisory services across various sectors.
