He holds a PhD from the University of Queensland, Australia, a Master\u2019s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Duqubue, Iowa, USA, a Master\u2019s in information technology from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), and a Bachelor of Science Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.<\/p><p>Under his leadership in CyberSecurity Malaysia, Dato\u2019 Dr Amirudin has contributed to various Malaysia\u2019s achievements and was appointed Chairperson to various local and international platforms.<\/p><p>Dato\u2019 Ts Dr Amir is an Adjunct Professor at various institutions of higher learning in Malaysia, including an Honorary Doctorate in Information Technology (Cybersecurity) from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). He has received numerous awards and recognition, the most recent being conferred a National Technologist Award 2024 by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia. On October 16, 2024, His Majesty the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong approved his appointment as a Member of the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) Advisory Board.
