Sustainability scientist by profession, environmentalist by passion, Dr. Yasmin Rasyid started her career in sustainability in 1998, upon her graduation from Duke University in Biology (Marine) and Contemporary Religion. She started her journey with WWF-Malaysia as a scientific officer, before going on to be the founded of local environmental non-profit, EcoKnights.
She has subsequently also served her expertise in government agencies, a multinational company, and now a GLC. All her roles in these organizations were either environmental or social sustainability related.
