Gregers Reimann is the managing director of IEN Consultants Sdn Bhd, a consultancy specialized in energy efficient high performance building design for new and existing buildings. Key projects include: 1) Energy efficient retrofit of the NUS SDE3 building with 80% measured energy savings and will become a ZERO Energy building once fitted with roof solar, 2) Biophilic, energy efficient and multi-award winning Paramit – factory in the forest, and 3) The pioneering energy efficient government office buildings Low Energy Office (LEO), GreenTech Malaysia and ST Diamond building.
Gregers also serves on the technical committee to develop the recently launched CarbonScore for total lifecycle carbon assessment of buildings in Malaysia. Under the umbrella of CGM and CAN, Gregers was part of the organizing committee for the large building industry stakeholder engagement (4,100 stakeholder and 14 roundtable discussions) resulting in a 146-page polity recommendation entitled “Towards a Low Carbon Emissions Pathway”.
Gregers walks the talk by bicycling to work and is a regular university guest lecturer / contributor to books / articles about the sustainable built environment.
