Jared spearheads the development of cybersecurity talent initiatives for the Hilti Group which includes the innovative Cybersecurity Career Starter Program, a one-year talent development program for recent graduates that offers job rotations, technical training, and personal coaching.
As part of his role, Jared is actively involved with the cybersecurity community: organizing career talks; coaching and mentoring students and young professionals; speaking at events, conferences, and universities; and volunteering in community outreach initiatives.
Prior to joining Hilti, Jared brings over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance across the consulting, banking, and manufacturing industries. Jared holds the ISC2 Certififed Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
