With over a decade of hands-on experience in the IT industry, Andy has consistently demonstrated strong capabilities in innovation, digital transformation, and the delivery of technically challenging services across both the telecommunications and financial sectors. During his tenure in banking, he was appointed as the Digital Payments Lead and played a key role in the BDCB FinTech Sandbox initiative.
In the telecommunications industry, he successfully led the transformation of a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) to a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), and spearheaded DST’s digital transformation journey. Notably, he was instrumental in DST becoming the first telco in the world to migrate to an AWS Landing Zone. He also led the development of an in-house CRM and guided a team of local developers to launch Brunei’s first super app for DST — a significant milestone in supporting the nation’s digital economy.
He firmly believes that such national digital initiatives are critical enablers of Brunei’s Wawasan 2035 vision.
