Dr. Asnidatul Adilah Ismail is a Senior Lecturer at Politeknik Balik Pulau, Malaysia, with more than 16 years of experience in Information Technology and Computing education. She holds a PhD in TVET Education and specialises in digital talent development, graduate employability, and industry-academia collaboration. Her work focuses on developing industry-relevant competencies and preparing future-ready talent aligned with the demands of Industry 4.0 and the digital economy.
She currently serves as the Institutional Industry Collaboration Coordinator at Politeknik Balik Pulau, where she leads initiatives that strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, including the IBM SkillsBuild programme, industry advisory engagements, and workforce readiness activities. Through these efforts, she supports the development of future digital talent by bridging educational outcomes with evolving industry needs. Her interests include digital competency development, AI and emerging technologies education, TVET transformation, and workforce development.
